Tilt and slide windows (PSK Automat type) are a system equipped with hardware with active solutions with forced action.

These press the leaf to the frame along its entire width during closing and push it away from the frame when opening the window. Thanks to these elements, opening and closing the window requires less force. This type of hardware is ideal for large and heavy leaves.

The construction of the solution means that the leaf requires very little force to change from being closed to the tilt position, while being protected against lateral movements.

Using the PSK Automat system: releasing from the tilt position, moving the leaves to the open / closed position, the opening and closing of the leaf is so easy that the window can be easily controlled with one hand.

Product Description

These doors are an interesting alternative to a traditional French Door or sliding door and a favourably priced alternative to ‘lift and slide’ HST systems. An ergonomic design of the aluminium handle makes it easy to open and close the door with one hand. Running trucks enable you to switch from tilt to open (sliding) position and vice versa effortlessly. The structure consists of two panels: one is active, the other one fixed permanently.
The ’tilt and slide’ doors operate using the PSK fittings. Thanks to this special system, when turning the handle 90degree the door moves inwards perpendicularly and slides towards the fixed panel side. Another function of this door is when the handle is turned 180degree the door panel can be tilted from the bottom so that the top of the door is angled internally allowing for secure ventilation.
Modern architecture relies on large-scale window elements, which must meet high demands on design, security, convenience and energy efficiency. The ‘Tilt and Slide’ door comes with a comfortable fitting system for contemporary balcony doors with ‘tilt and slide’ function.
